Spring time in Missouri.  It’s anybody’s guess what it’s going to be like.  This weekend featured a LOT of wind and a significant drop in temps.  Still, I know several people got out  and did some biking.   Tara, Robert, and Neal got some bike packing in as part of Velo’s Spring Loaded event.  Derek and Steve R. road the Cool Hand Look, Gravel Grind, Critical Mass happened this past Friday.   I know several people also ran in the Trolley Trail run this past weekend.  Kind of boring compared to biking, but hey…  there was good breakfast at the end.   Last Thursday several of us met up for Velo Garage’s Thirsty Thursday Ride, and we got a good ride in there as well.

Thristy Thursday’s at Velo Garage

Every Thursday we meet up at Velo Garage and Tap House in North Kansas City and get 10-15 miles in.   We depart around 6:30 pm, and it’s a no-drop pace.   When it’s all said and done, we drink beer at Velo for a bit and talk about..  well..  biking.  It’s a godo time.  Try and join us if you can.

May BBBR – May 13th

Details about our monthly ride can can be found by clicking the link above.  We’re meeting up at McLain’s bakery this month and we’ll go out for a couple loops, each ending a Bier Station with…  Beer.   Good way to get some training in for those of us training fro Ragbrai, or whatever, and also always fun to socialize and do something somewhat healthy.
