Start planning your 2020 Gravel riding Early. Here’s a good event in late April. A fairly challenging event up in Leavenworth that can be a good kick start to your season. There’s a limited number of spots available, so don’t wait too long.
Captain America and I rode the 25 mile last year (ended up being closer to 30). It was a challenging ride, but did not leave me dead to the world like Dirty Kanza or Opal Wapoo, I was still able to go to a mountain bike demo day at Landahl AFTER the ride.
Last year the next step up was 62 miles, which was more than I was willing to commit to, so the 50 mile course sounds like a fantastic option! It’s April so it’s pretty early in the season, but also means it won’t be hot
