2019 Tour De BBQ Bike Ride

Once again, a portion of the proceeds from the annual Tour de BBQ bike ride – set for Saturday, Sept. 7 – are benefiting Children’s Mercy and the organizers sent over a complimentary registration code for Children’s Mercy employees (and friends of CMH employees!) to use for the ride. Early bird registration ends on Saturday, June 15.

• Note: There is an option to add a donation to go directly to Children’s Mercy during the registration process. Each year, this event supports our Oncology transitions program and our collaboration with the University of Kansas Hospital for the Oncology Transition Clinic. If you use the complimentary registration code, please consider joining me in turning your registration fee into a donation for Children’s Mercy.

There is a 12-miler, a 35-miler and a 62-miler and, regardless of the route you do, you get to eat delicious BBQ along the way! Again, please consider joining Team Children’s Mercy if you register so we can have a good showing again this year. I – and others with Team CMH – plan to be out there for the 35-miler again.
